I am a digital media artist and content creator, specialising in film and animation, residing in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia.

I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Digital Media at the University of Wollongong, Majoring in Media Arts, I have also completed a diploma of Screen and Design, advanced diploma in Screen and Media and a statement of attainment in Directing and Production skills set in Film and Television.

Primarily a film artist, my strong skills are animation (2D - after effects and 3D - cinema4D) as well as editing footage and sound design. However, as a content creator, I am experienced in photography and post-photographic editing, and cinematography.

Along with my visual media skills, I am also a musician, experienced in guitar and drums. I have played in several bands locally, as well as composed music for an ABC pilot in 2015, and as a lover of the fine arts, I also have some skill in illustration, using ink and biro as my primary source of medium.

Through my practice, I like to experiment with two-dimensional stop-motion, as well as with three-dimensional objects and materials. Coming from a digital media background, my personal artist practice consists of film, animation and sound design. The artists I have been inspired by are: Terry Gilliam, Lotte Reiniger, Maya Derren, David Lynch, Louis C.K and Deborah Kelly. These artists create whimsical and surreal worlds through the use of film as well as animation. I am also intrigued by the almost absurd and dissonant aspect of all these artists incorporate into their films/animations as well as the use of photo cut-outs of regular objects to create irregular hybrid creatures.

As well as being interested in digital media and new technologies, I also have a strong connection with nature and would like to marry technology into nature, particularly insects and plants, so I intend on using interesting aspects of nature, which give me inspiration for my subject matter. It is my goal to further my understanding of both film and animation, but also to think outside of the normal confines of film and animation. I hope to expand on and extrapolate ideas that I have previously touched on in past projects such as: perceptions of nature and the relationship between the digital and the natural world. I want to experiment with and challenge pre-exisiting methods and techniques of presenting screen based work. it has always been my approach to use a variety of methods in an installation setting and I would like that to show through in the way I present my work. i would like to push myself further especially in how I present my screen based projects in a hope to create something new.
